The sermon today in church was about Romans 8:28. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose." There are many sad events and tragedies in our lives, and not all things in life are good, but God can use all things for our good.
I have so much to be thankful for. We are all healthy, with jobs and homes to live in.

"This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it."
This has not been a day where "things have gone my way" but rather it has been a day where "things have gone wrong". I had a plan in mind for what I would get done today, but the plan was overturned by other events. Still, we are all healthy, we have a home and food. I am reminded of how fortunate we are every time I see photos of the victims of the typhoon in the Philippines.
